Income Tax Experience
Gain practical experience in tax preparation as student in a business diploma program. You can participate in the Canada Revenue Agency鈥檚 Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), using the latest tax software to prepare and E-File tax returns for students.
Business Simulation
Develop a winning strategy for your company in a computerized business simulation project and competition in your final semester of the Business program. Create a business plan and transform your innovative ideas into structured, viable business proposals.
Practical Work Experience
In your Sports Administration program, complete four field placements in the College Athletics department or in community sport organizations. Get real-world experience with sport-related administrative roles.
Entrepreneurship
Receive real-world experience and valuable understanding of entrepreneurial success by taking on the steps to plan, start and operate a business for 15 weeks as a class. Manufacture your product and sell it on campus, with some proceeds going to a charity.
Further Your Education
Our Business programs provide many options for your to continue your education. Earn your Business Fundamentals certificate in two semesters, and then continue to a business diploma program here in only one more year.
Your two-year diploma allows your to transfer credits toward a pathway to a degree with a partner university, where you get both a diploma and degree in as little as four years.
You can even explore fast-tracking toward a professional designation with CPA Ontario, CPB Canada, RPA Canada, and AFOA Canada.
